When my wife became pregnant and stopped drinking, I brought home some non-alcoholic wine and beers for us to drink together so we could keep up with our rituals. I found it challenging to source exciting non-alcoholic drinks, and even harder to find someone who cared enough to take the time to guide me through the limited choices available. This took me down a path of researching non-alcoholic drinks, the industry as a whole, and trying to source the best products around.

While liquor stores have expanded their non-alcoholic offerings, and there are online websites to order non-alcoholic beverages to your door, what was lacking was a dedicated non-alcoholic space. There weren't many people around to talk to about this emerging category, and I really don't believe you should have to go to a liquor store to buy non-alcoholic drinks. You don't go to a butcher to buy tofu after all.
